“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven….. He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiates 3:1-11. This is the scripture that I read at my dear mother’s Funeral Mass 1 year ago and this is also the scripture that inspired the title of my blog almost three years ago. Having a blog has been a dream of mine for a long time. I began writing, taking lots of pictures (which I love to do) and saving everything. I made it my goal for January 1, 2016 to finally launch my blog, but God had a different plan, an unexpected season of life rolled in and launching my blog was temporarily put on hold. Two days before Christmas my sweet mother at the young age of 69, became very ill. The next three weeks were spent caring for her as she began her journey home to Our Lord. Her final moments were spent at my home surrounded by a lot of love! You can read more here

Now, one year after the passing of my mother, and after a full year of deep soul-searching, prayer and healing from not only the loss of my mother, but also the loss of my father (who passed away suddenly five months prior to my mom) – I finally feel as ready as I ever will be to share my blog! There is always more I can change, edit, add, and subtract, but the seasons of life keep plugging along and there is so much God has allowed me to learn throughout the seasons of my life that I feel called to share with others. It is my hope and prayer that God can use me through my blog to inspire others to become the best version of themselves both body and soul, total health – in ever season of their lives. Also, there is so much I know I can glean and learn from others. We are all on this journey together!
Growing up, our home was always decorated to fit the season we were currently in – be it cute little snowman, a harvest display of pumpkins and gourds, Spring décor or a presentation of red, white and blue to celebrate Summer.
My mother inspired in me a love for the natural and liturgical seasons that I also proudly display in my home, but more importantly, she inspired in me a love for the seasons of life! This is the foundation for my blog and I pray that the content herein will inspire in you a love for life in every season of your heart and home!
